I believe I have a second “hit”. Marwan Issa Ahmed Yassin We may need a ruling. My list of Middle East Trouble Makers included the top HAMAS leadership (Marwan Issa Ahmed Yassin as ~ #3 in the hierarchy). The man confirmed as Marwan Issa is also listed as a top HAMAS operative. I believe they are one in the same - my knowledge of Arabic naming conventions is limited to non-existent. He was 58 or 59 (born 1965, date undetermined). It looks like I conflated Marwan Issa with Sheikh Ahmed Yassin (HAMAS founder died in 2022). What say you? Points or not (31 would be fine based on the latest birth year). Apologies for not including a “dirty” descriptive list along with my clean list for clarity. From Wiki: On 11 March 2024, Israel announced the targeting of an underground facility in Nuseirat, central Gaza, used by Issa, airing footage of the strike and noting that the results were still being analyzed. Five Palestinians were reportedly killed in the bombing.[11] Hamas, which had not disclosed much about its senior military leaders during the war, did not immediately respond.[12] On 17 March 2024, it was reported that Hamas had confirmed in private that Issa had been killed in the strike. At the time of his killing, Issa was the highest-ranking Hamas commander to be killed in the war.[12] Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu reportedly hailed the news as “a great achievement for Israel” and stated “they will all die, we will reach them all.”[13] On 18 March 2024, White House National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan confirmed Issa’s death.[14] On 26 March 2024, the Israel Defense Forces officially confirmed Issa’s death.[15] ---
