One great rival of the participants in my list, the German national soccer team, has died: Johan Neeskens, fantastic player and good person: > **[Football Daily | Johan Neeskens, the most complete player of the Total...](https://www.theguardian.com/football/2024/oct/08/football-daily-email-johan-neeskens)** > > In today’s Football Daily: Remembering the great Johan Neeskens Unfortunately for him and for the Netherlands he lost the '74 final against the Germans after scoring from the penalty spot in the first minute. He still had a great career, including a stint at Barcelona, where he is fondly remembered. ---

I have been contemplating my 2025 list and trying to decide if I should actually use it. It’s a list where I would at least not mind the picks dying, if not actively wishing they would kick the bucket. I’ll give you _ **one** _ name and make a bet you can figure out the theme. Dennis Rader, ---

Use it! I think many if not most of us have picks we wouldn’t mind getting points for. Not so much for me on my themed list but my other list I do. ---

Well, the serial killer list is one in which I would not shed a tear for their deaths, preferably painful. But the list I mentioned a day ago is amusing, and while I think some of the people on it are odd, they are not bad. ---
