The Pacers blew out the Heat last night for their eighth win of the season, and while we’re still the worst team in the league by far, we’re no longer in realistic danger of claiming the worst record of all-time. ---

The Pacers and the Pelicans were the two worst teams in the league heading into the game, and the Pelicans had the rights to both their picks just a few months ago but gave both away for almost nothing. ---

Prior to the Pacers’ game in Oklahoma City against the Thunder, OKC was given about a 94% chance to win. NOPE! Pacers beat them by 3. That’s despite 47 points from SGA. ---

The Pacers pulled off a little of last year’s playoff magic tonight in a win at home against Chicago. 7:14 left in the fourth quarter. Bulls up 101-87. Chicago’s win probability was 98.0%. Indiana outscored Chicago 26-9 the rest of the way, including an 18-4 run and some clutch play by Siakam, Nesmith, Nembhard, and Furphy to win, 113-110. ---

The Hornets are one of the few teams to beat the Thunder this year, and at halftime in Charlotte, they’re up by 14 on _another_ excellent team, the Spurs. They just can’t win consistently is why they’re currently on the outside looking in. ---
