There will be repeats. Rosters are that large. This was probably a special teams mistake, where someone needs to switch numbers quickly but it didn’t happen. This is more on the equipment team. ---

Hahahahahaha! Gators lose on some stupid penalties, bad play calling, and the worst clock management I’ve ever seen from a major college coach. My daughter goes to USF and when I called her, I had trouble hearing for all the screams in the background. That campus is going to be rocking tonight. Two wins over Top 25 teams to start the season. Anybody else think Napier’s seat is getting uncomfortably warm? This actually hurts the ‘Noles. Our SoS wasn’t great even before UF shit the bed. It’ll be worse now (especially since Florida has a real shot at starting 1-3 with LSU and Miami back-to-back the next two weeks). Oh, and FSU looked like FSU of old. Yeah it was a cupcake “pay me” opponent, but we rolled over them easily - like you’re supposed to. ---

Some 3rd string RB who also plays on special teams needs to change his jersey when he goes in for a kickoff and forgot. Speaking of egregious officiating: Bears vs Texas Southern on Saturday. TSU QB is scrambling and completes a pass after he was 3 or 4 yards beyond the LoS. Nobody flagged it until they looked at the replay. Some official screwed up their assignment. ---

Got to watch the Beauty of a 360 lb defensive tackle intercept a pass and run it back for 70 FUCKING YARDS for a TD and nobody caught him! This was in the 7-hour weather delayed USC-Perdue game. Amazing how fast they go thru that once they got it going. Like, 30 seconds per commericial break. They wanted that thing dead! So I switch channels… Hummm… Notre Damn playing… hope they are losing… They are ranked #8 with a record of 0-1. Give me a Fucking Break! SC has hung more points at 3-0 than a trump Ponzi scheme, and aren’t ranked. ---

I expect them to be ranked in the top 25. They’ve lost to #5 and #16 in very close games. The #5 were #10 going into that game. I don’t like Notre Dame. But getting upset because they aren’t punished severely for these two losses seems like you’re railing against mathematics. ---

Speaking of ranked teams, #12 Clemson lost to unranked Georgia Tech, as the Tech kicker nailed a 55-yard FG as time expired. Clemson opened the season losing a close game to then-#9 LSU, then beat unranked Troy 27-16 in a game in which they trailed at halftime. I expect Clemson to drop out of the Top 25 this week. ---

I’m gonna have to re-think my assessment of South Carolina after Vandy decisively pounded the Cocks in Columbia. And speaking of bad home losses, Virginia Tech losing bigly in Blacksburg to Old Dominion was an eye opener. ---

Yes, because Georgia Tech was unranked. They are 3-0 but their other two wins are against Colorado and Gardner-Webb (which is a school I’ve literally never heard of, and I’m a major higher education geek) ---
