I mentioned to my friends that George Foreman died and the first response was, “Which one?”

Weird we now live after the deaths of Ali, Frazier, and Foreman.

Was George the last major boxer of that era?

I think I have heard of a Larry Holmes, who is holding on to 25 points. The names Ken Norton and Leon Spinks seem more familiar to me, but they are _retired_ retired.

Holmes is one of the best boxers ever. It’s funny that I think of him as the generation of fighter after Ali since he’s only 7 years younger and only one year younger than Foreman. Holmes is the one who knocked out Ali and held the heavyweight title for years. I hear he’s having some health issues. I was supposed to go to an event he was supposed to be at but he cancelled.
