I made a few changes, may they be for the better: [Ramzan Akhmatovich Kadyrov](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ramzan_Kadyrov) – nasty Chechen piece of sadistic shit, now with English spelling! Julio Iglesias – former Real Madrid goalie substitute and crooner [Josef Fritzl](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fritzl_case#Josef_Fritzl) – Incestous demented rapist José Mujica – former bank robber and President of Uruguay, among many other remarcable feats. Great man. Randy Moss – Bandwagon driver the first. Sir Chris Hoy – olympic cycling champion Roger O’Donnell – The Cure keyboarder Sophie Kinsella – ‘Shopaholic’ author Bill Clinton – Former US President. [Miguel Rafael Martos Sánchez](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Raphael_(singer)), often simply referred to as Raphael, Spanish singer and actor. James Van Der Beek – Dawson’s Creek actor. Elon Musk – No introduction necessary. There are only so many enemies one person can make and actions have consequences. yeah, I know… Andy Taylor – Bandwagon rider the second. Alternatives: Bryan Johnson – [Wants to live forever](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bryan_Johnson). I am against that. Paul Anka – And another singer. To quote myself from last year: > [@2024 SDMB Celebrity Death Pool](https://boards.straightdope.com/t/2024-sdmb-celebrity-death-pool/993940/82): > > I always think that _this_ time I’m going to be clever and strategic about it. And then I just get depressed about trying to predict who will die imminently for the purposes of gaining a few points in a meaningless internet game, and just make a list of whomever comes immediately to mind. Which is probably why I never do well at this. And in 2024 all I got was Shannon Doherty and a no-score from Jimmy Carter (which I’m fine with, tbh). So here’s my random bash for this year: **List** Tom Baker (Doctor Who actor) Dave Coulier (Full House actor) Tim Curry (actor/fucking legend) Geoff Hurst (English footballer) Tom Lehrer (musical satirist/professor) Mitch McConnell (politician/part-time turtle) Willie Nelson (Singer/occasional actor) Linda Ronstadt (singer) Diana Ross (singer) Michael Tilson Thomas (conductor/pianist) James Van de Beek (actor) Dick Van Dyke (actor/fucking legend) Dionne Warwick (singer) **Alternates:** Bruce Willis (actor in the BEST CHRISTMAS FILM EVER) Jeremy Paxman (UK newsreader) Pat Boone ([heavy metal singer](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/In_a_Metal_Mood:_No_More_Mr._Nice_Guy)) **Clean list** Tom Baker Dave Coulier Tim Curry Geoff Hurst Tom Lehrer Mitch McConnell Willie Nelson Linda Ronstadt Diana Ross Michael Tilson Thomas James Van de Beek Dick Van Dyke Dionne Warwick **Clean alt-list:** Bruce Willis Jeremy Paxman Pat Boone ---
