I didn’t really feel bad while in. Some of the antibiotics had to be administered in the hospital. I have been in the hospital before but I have never had so many pokes and prods. The first day and a helf I could hardly sleep because if thirty minutes had passed someone was in my room to do something to me; ---

I think he qualifies as a key figure and a “bad guy” in the Watergate scandal. He was Nixon’s White House counsel and he participated actively in the cover-up. But he eventually realized he was on the losing side and he testified against the administration in exchange for a lesser sentence. Judy Hoback Miller is also still alive at 88. She was one of the key informants who worked with Woodward and Bernstein. (The other was Mark Felt aka Deep Throat.) Hoback was the bookkeeper for Nixon’s re-election campaign and she was the one who passed on the information about the campaign paying the burglars, establishing the connection between them. But she never sought publicity for her role and didn’t become a well known figure. ---
