Only a celebrity in musicological circles, but Dr Bonnie Blackburn passed away yesterday. Wikipedia hasn’t even approved the amendment to the article yet. She was a friend of the spouse and a lovely woman I met a few times in passing, as well as a highly respected Oxford scholar of medieval and Renaissance music. > **[Bonnie J.
