I will never forget watching the video of Ted Turner finding out the World Trade Center building had fallen. It’s a rare genuine moment. Obviously kind of a jerk at times, but he had big visions and I appreciate some of what I’ve heard about him. ---

My siblings have stories of sailing against him in races on Lake Chickamauga in Chattanooga and Allatoona in the Atlanta area. I was young enough that I don’t remember any specific comments they made, just that he was in races at times. Much smaller boats than would have been in the America’s cup races, of course. ---

I just read Jane Fonda’s write-up about Ted Turner. Sounds like she really loved him and he did really love her. He was unfaithful, though. I’m not sure if she was. She gave him a second chance and they lasted 7(?) more years. I guess he might have cheated again. I’m not sure, but they split. He’s not in any Epstein stuff, I take it? I mean in terms of guilt. I hope not. ---
