Other Groups, like Brot für die Welt, Welthungerhilfe and so on, target adult farmers in giving them Information on how things will continue to Change with climate Change, and what steps can be taken to mitigate that.
During the Great American .22 Round Shortage, I discovered an interesting variant of .22 ammunition that has no powder, just the primer. Made by Aquila or something like that. It’s still dangerous, and will punch a hole through cans but is powered down enough to shoot indoors with a suitable backstop. Also good for quietly dispatching vermin and other critters in the barn or a more urban situation so as not to spook the womenfolk or horses.
“Colibri”
There’s also Super Colibri, which contains a limited amount of power.
Also available are .22Short (limited powder, many semi-autos won’t safely chamber), and CB & BB Caps (no powder, VERY tiny, safe in only specific weapons).
Even the dimminutive CB and BB Caps are serious business. I have over my shoulder here a 22 rimfire trap, into which I’ve also placed a 350-page phonebook (yes, those can still be found) as a muffler / noise reducer*. The center of the book is shredded by… CB Caps.
So - yes. Colibri rounds are dangerous.
But I seriously advise that you use anything else if you mean to shoot something living. 'Cause they’ll hurt, but won’t kill much.
