A co-worker emailed this to me, not sure where he got it from. I don’t think there’s anything in here that’s a spolier, just some unconfirmed rumors, but just in case I’m going to do the black spoiler box on that part. Brace yourself fans. FOX is going to be preempting “24” on March 11th and March 18th in order to air two-hour episodes of “American Idol”. The good news is that when it returns on March 25 we will have 9 straight weeks of new episodes. Ending with the season finale on May 20th. Expect a big cliffhanger in the finale. According to Fox prez Gail Berman, the hair-pulling goes on into next season. “For the first time on 24,” she says. “What will happen at the end of the story will lay the groundwork for what happens next year. The way the show is heading storywise, it will open a door that leads us into next year.” And the most recent rumor floating around? Tony’s the mole. He’s orchestrated everything from day one, season one. And there’s a lot of chatter that Nina and her “bosses”, which we heard about in last year’s finale, will in fact tie-in. Unanswered questions from last year WILL be resolved. Could be time to break out the DVD! ---

It just wouldn’t fit with SO much that happened last season and this season. If they go through with it, I will be very disappointed. But I doubt it’s true. ---

Ok, I think maybe I’ve been watching too much 24. We capture a (if not THE) al Qaeda leader Khalid Shaikh Mohammed, and the first thing I think of is “Let’s sic Jack Bauer on him and Osama bin Laden is as good ar ours!” Back in real life…Chalk one up for the good guys, eh? ---

I hope the guy isn’t getting a towel shoved down his esophagus. Although an earlier thread said that it wouldn’t have the same effect that Jack said it would. ---
