IANAD, but I see no reason to ever paralyze your diaphragm (ending hiccups notwithstanding, of course). I think Lynneā€™s first mistake was not delivering a more devastating blow to her captor. It seems like it was pretty much just a surprise shot, and didnā€™t even knock him out; if I was in the situation, I probably wouldā€™ve landed one more just to ensure my safe escape down the stairs. It looks like Father/Wife Killer is going to be involved again somehow, Iā€™m interested to see howā€¦ ---

Not much to add, everyone covered everything already. But I have to say my favorite part was Jack taking the guyā€™s gun while heā€™s suffocating, and then kicking him over (naked to boot). What a badass! I donā€™t think Mike feels guilty, I think heā€™s scared that heā€™ll be revealed. What a punk! Although Lynn could have at least brought a weapon with her to make good her escape. I saw some iron bars that would have done nicely in that closet. Kate should have made up a story about the chip, ā€œThatā€™s the proof that those damn towelheads set off the bomb and without it the US canā€™t retaliate against the bastards, I need to get it back to CTUā€. ---

For those discussing the previews, they were I think talking about everything thatā€™s gonna happen in the show, not specially next weekā€™s episode. And I am with av8rmike, I was also thinking that Jack really likes being flat-lined šŸ˜‰ ---

Iā€™m new, so Iā€™m wondering; if one is just speculating about what might possibly happen, how is that a Spoiler? If this is a criterion, I need to somehow install a Spoiler function in my brain as I am always running ā€œwhat ifā€™sā€ through there. If I happen to be right about something, I donā€™t usually think, ā€œOh s\*#t, I spoiled the whole thing by thinking about it!ā€ :smack: But thatā€™s me. ---

**Randwill** , a lot of _24_ fans donā€™t watch the preview for the next weekā€™s show. So we generally put any information revealed in the preview in a spoiler box. You can do that by doing {spoiler} blah blah blah {/spoiler}, only replacing the **{}** with **[]**. ---

well since previews are a touchy issue, iā€™ll be super-cautious here. but when Jack tells Kim ā€œShoot him now!ā€, and she _actually pulls the trigger_, i said something like 'Dear God, you mean _ **Kim** _ actually does something smart?!?" Hubby cheerfully replied, ā€œWell, you donā€™t really see what sheā€™s shooting. She probably just shot herself in the foot.ā€ i laughed so hard i thought i was gonna cough up a lung. lachesis ---

My bad. I just figure seeing as how the previews are shown on t.v. right after the show, theyā€™re fair game. I mean, theyā€™re helpful whenever making guesses as to whatā€™s going to happen next, so when it gets into that bit of conversation, I donā€™t see a reason for the boxes. Iā€™ll try and be a bit more considerate next time. ---

If something paralyzed your larynx, could you talk at all? It would seem to be an unusual method for information extraction. I guess you could have the person write down their information. Yousef knows when heā€™s going to die, he knows when other people are going to die. Heā€™s a death psychic. We could have used him in the next four hours. I hate the redneck plot. According to the website for the show, the drug administered was Beroglide. This is not listed in the PDR and I am pretty sure that it is made up. It doesnā€™t appear in Google either. The writers likely didnā€™t want to give anyone any ideas of how to kill people with stuff found in the dispensing room of the hospital. ---

As I semi-predicted last weekā€¦after hours of torture, flatlining and being whipped, Jack is able to jump off the table, blow away two guards and get info out of torturer within 3 minutesā€¦then he jumps in a car and drives like a NASCAR finalist and is not even winded as he bids farewell to Yosef dying in what is probably the last exisiting phone booth on the West Coast of the US. (Maybe that is the one they borrowed to film Phone Booth?) And two Kim-free episodes - hotdamn!..man, itā€™s like winning the lottery! ---
