Plus, it was either that, or get out of L.A. on foot. Remember, she didn’t have a car, and boyfriend didn’t bring his – he took a cab. Grabbing his keys was not a dumb move, since it was her best option at the time – and remember, she now knows the larger issue. It’s get out of L.A. or possibly participate in a mass human spontaneous combustion incident. Relatively speaking, the potential for grand theft auto charges would have to seem a bit trivial.
