I guess the torture scene is they had the graphic violence warning at the beginning of the show (first time I’ve seen that this season). I had a hard time watching that as well. ---

Was I the only one who got the idea that Marie is in on this deal from the previews? Reza says “Who else had access to this account? Marie?” and then there’s a quick shot of a gun with a silencer. I put it in a spoiler box because I don’t want anyone who doesn’t pay attention to the coming attractions to get mad at me. ---

In one scene, Jack pulls out a hunk of shrapnel the size of a Bowie knife, then is giving Nina mouth-to-mouth to revive her after they both fell 23,000 feet and crashed in an airplane, and less than 13 seconds later, they are doing an Olympic-qualifying sprint across rocky terrain dodging bullets. (Despite these minor lapses in credibility, I love this show and bought both my brothers the DVD first season sets for Christmas.) ---

Re the scenes from next week: Did anyone notice whether the shot with Reza at the computer and the shot of the shooting gun were part of the same scene? I wouldn’t be surprised if these were cut together from different scenes in the episode to make us think that Reza is going to get shot (at). It was pretty clearly an inside scene, but remember Dr. Torture is getting ready to kill Kate, and I think it showed him loading a gun while she was still in shock that looked like the one in the preview. So the shot fired in the preview scenes could be from that storyline instead of Reza’s. Darn those editors! ---
