Say what happened to the EMP device? The one that blacked out most of Downtown L.A.? Did the DWP guys come out and just turn everything back on. I work in Downtown L.A. and I’m hoping that if one of these go off, I would be guaranteed a few days off. ---

**BobT** – Yeah, I’ve been wondering about that, too. They seem to have an endless supply of LAPD wherever they need them (“Have LAPD tighten the perimeter – we have to keep Marwan from escaping… again…”), even though you’d think that a lot of the police force would still be tied up trying to restore order, stop looting, etc etc in the blackout zone. Which was rather large. ---

Despite all the problems with this year’s story, I would still rather watch 24 than any other one hour drama. After nearly 200 episodes of MST3K, I can appreciate bad scripts. ---

I dunno, I think Deadwood and The Shield have that honor for me this season. I am almost ready to skip the last three hours of 24 at this point. I have a nasty feeling how the season is going to end and I don’t need to see yet another tragic ending to a season of 24. The first time, it was cool because it was rarely done. Now it’s becoming trite and cliched. ---
