Can you get a signal back from a cell phone by only letting it ring? Could the other two points of the traingle know which phone it is? ---

The stand-out moment for me was when Terrordad told Terrorsister-in-law, “You disgust me.” I mean, this guy is looking for his wife and son SO HE CAN KILL THEM but SIL’s adultery - \*that’s \* disgusting. Why didn’t he just stone her? ---

Why didn’t he just stone her? He doesn’t have the stones. I had trouble swallowing the Driscoll/Curtis thing, too. Sure he didn’t know Marianne was a spy, but he didn’t have reason to. He was suspicious of her and broke off their relationship. Driscoll, on the other hand, brought her in even though Curtis warned her, and it’s _her job_ not to let crap like this happen. She made the call to hire her and I think she’d be the one to swing for it. Curtis might get some lesser punishment, but he wouldn’t be in as much trouble. ---

I almost forgot to mention. I could be mistaken, but I think last night’s episode was a landmark moment in “24 Cell Phone History”. It’s the first time that I recall seeing somebody actually **not** having a perfect cell phone signal. Jack, leaving the hotel room, talking to Driscoll on the cell, and he says, “Hang on, Erin, I can barely hear you”. Then the signal clears up when he gets outside. :eek: Before, the cell phones have always worked perfectly even in the middle of the desert. ---

Yeah, that was interesting. I thought something was going to happen, but it turned out he was just going outside for the signal. What a concept. There was a little moment in this episode that I really liked: Jack washing his face and looking at himself in the mirror before talking to TerrorMom. He was making her wait before questioning, which made sense, but it was also just kind of a nice character moment. Jack having a second to himself, not driving anywhere or being shot at or even yelling at anyone. And we saw the Salazar tattoo, which was another reminder of how much he’s given on the job. That and Tony going along with Jack in this episode are among my favorite _24_ moments in two seasons of watching, up there (though not ahead) with Jack shooting Nina. ---
