I think the show has been somewhat formulaic from the start. And tremendously unrealistic. So what? It’s great viewing. I still find the show absolutely addictive and I sure as hell hope it doesn’t end any time soon. Is viewership declining? ---

I have an idea for a fresh season. Why don’t they do a flashback season or two where Jack joins up and has a kick-a\*\* trainer/mentor? Maybe how he met his wife and got to be head dude in CTU. I think seeing how he learned the old knife in the leg trick might be interesting. ---

Hopefeully she’ll put Brokeback Bauer in his place sometime between now and then. Or maybe the writers are going to let Chloe take him down with a machine gun. ---

I think Jack should _be_ a Pirate. This show needs more swashbuckling! Like maybe the first episode of season 10. Jack’s found work as a pirate at decrepit old Disneyland or something. He half-jumps half-falls off the float amidst the clink and crash of empty whisky bottles and goes at it with Henderson, who’s down to one good eye and half his teeth. Henderson eventually succumbs to Jack’s breath. ---

Has anyone noticed that most commercials for _The Sentinal_ are all about Michael Douglas…except for the ones show during _24_? ---
