I don’t know if this has been mentioned or not, but I heard on the tv this morning that a movie of _‘24’_ will be made in the future, starring Kiefer. No censors! ---

Was the recoding on tape or was it a digital recorder? If it was the later, I definitely second (third, whatever) the “make a copy” argument, since Jack’s PDA probably can connect with the recorder and transmit teh sound file. “Hold up the recorder to the phone” may not make a good enough copy for impeachment / conviction, but may be good enough for Karen to use CTU to help Jack. Part of it is the fault of the posters here because half the time everyone is referred to be a different name. Now who the hell is Brokeback Bauer? Really, the only names I ever remember are Jack and Chloe. By the way, I saw the actress who plays Chloe on The Tonight Show, she’s pretty funny. I don’t think Jay knew how to react to her. ---

I think it was a tape – but here’s another thought. Make a beeline for the nearest TV station or news team. Get it into a reporter’s hands, with the specification that they make as many copies as possible and send to as many of their news affiliates around the country as possible. Have every frickin TV station start playing the tape on national media – non-stop live coverage – so that the country knows that Logan is a doodyhead. Yes, there might still be the suspicion that the tape is doctored, and there still needs to be verification by experts for admissible evidence blah blah blah. But right now, getting more people on your side seems to give better chances of staying alive, since right now people (like army people, and police people, and authority type people who have weapons) are still following orders from their President-whom-they-don’t-suspect. Make some COPIES, dammit! Don’t run around with the only copy… ---

A few weeks back we were giving everyone nicknames of the “\*\*\*ack Bauer” variety, and I speculated that SHG might be gay. Every show has to have at least one gay person these days, right? OK, it’s a bit of a stretch, but it seemed funny at the time. Anyway, I can never remember their real names. I even get Curtis’ and Edgar’s names mixed up sometime! 🙂 Back in the day, this thread always used nicknames for the not-so-main characters. I thought that was half the fun of reading it. ---

I finished season 1 not long ago, and it was listed as about 1050 minutes, about 17+ hours. And if you take out the "previously on 24’, that brings it down to under 17 hours. Maybe they’d show him stuck in traffic or something. or maybe going to the bathroom. Though I can’t imagine a scene where you see Jack walking down the hall with a newspaper under his arm, saying “Hold on, I’ll be out in a minute”. Whoa! I just googled to verify the [movie rumor and I was wong](http://www.moviehole.net/gossipmonkey/20060222_gossip_monkey_with_the_latest.html), it’s not 1 movie…but 3! \* Kiefer has inked a 3 movie deal for a series of ‘24’ movies at Fox. Yep, three.
