That’s right. There are only a few different models of handcuffs in use. The same key can be used to open any handcuffs of the same model. ---

BTW, did anyone else find it strange that Karen Hayes felt the need to tell the President what a “suitcase nuke” was? You’d think that the POTUS would be quite familiar with this term. ---

Were I an Eevile Terrorist, I should not be inclined to trigger my suitcase nuke with a single toggle switch. Mrs. Plant may set the groceries down on top of said suitcase. The cat likes to play with shiny things and bat them about. I may short the terminals of the switch myself, while closing the suitcase. And how, rhetorically, do I plan to detonate my SN? Perhaps with a very long stick, or one of the many gullible Eevile Terrorist Gophers that apparently populate Los Angeles. ---

I had the pleasure of meeting him while he was having a smoke during a break in the filming of the first hour’s episode\* (insert giddiness here), and I didn’t detect the least bit of an Arabic accent in his normal speaking voice. \*That scene where the “real” terrorist grabbed the keys to the Taurus from the tire and drove out of the alley? I was standing in a corner behind one of the buildings while it was being shot. That alley is adjacent to my office building. I even got to see a PA being yelled out for sending said terrorist out of the alley before they were ready to shoot. So many months later, and I’m still giddy! ---

I suppose we could wait for next week, but I am wondering - just how big was that bomb ? How many city blocks do you think it took out, how many people died ? Would it spread radiation to the whole city ? Is Jack going to get radiation poisioning ? (not that it’s a problem for Jack…) And - do such weapons really exist ? (yikes) ---
