And lucky for him the perfect scapegoat, Jack, happened to be in the room at the time! Even for 24, that was really pushing it. Overall, it was a disappointing episode, except for Bill Buchanan’s Last Stand, which was pretty cool. (Although he might have had at least a chance of survival had he fired that gun around the corner instead of doing it right in the doorway.) I was also glad they didn’t kill off Agent Pierce. Yet. I’m guessing the vague Martha-Logan-is-probably-dead dialogue was put in to set up a future Bill-like heroic sacrifice. ---
