> On the note of Agent Rowrrr… anybody else notice that they did the “silent clock” at the end? They’re trying to screw with us, aren’t they? I’m sure not too many of us believe that she’s really dead, after the pains Jack’s taking to keep her alive. So if they really wanted to throw a not-so-expected twist at the audience, they’d actually kill her off from being buried alive. But… I hope not… Rowrrrr!

I don’t think the clock was completely silent. I heard very faint breathing sounds.

> Son of a bitch! I spent a week and a half debating about whether or not to commit to this season, finally gave in and spent the last two nights watching all five hours. I was just starting to think I’d enjoy it, and now I read this and realize it all falls apart already. :smack:

Sorry **Asimovian**. This show hasn’t made much sense since Season 4… actually, since Season 3 (A murderer tries to blackmail…, no _extort_ the president. Her leverage? Evidence that she killed someone. Worst bluff ever, and only feasible if everyone involved is stupider than a box of rocks). But I still need my Velvet fix.

> In an earlier episode, they said it would take 6 days to re-build the firewall, blah blah technobabble blah… SO, in 6 days they can have things fixed up so that the CIP device thingy is no longer a threat, right? Okay, here’s one other option. Back down the troops for now, make General Crazypants think he’s made his point, rebuild your infrastructure, and in 6 days send the military back in and turn their regime into Jell-O.
>
> Of course, they have the whole “bad guys heading in to slaughter an innocent village” thing going on. But still… you **can** wipe out their regime next week, if you have to.

Yep, that’s the second-best option. The only problem is that 6 days is long enough for General Crazypants’ regime to commit a fairly extensive genocide. The death toll could easily reach horrific levels (100,000+?).

This is _24_, where cellphones _always_ work. On this show, Jack Bauer could be on a submarine and he’d still have cell reception.

Garofalo is _not_ eye candy on this show. She has that Lindsay-Wagner, I-haven’t-slept-in-a-week look going. What’s up with her?

I regretfully have to agree with you. I mean, I’m sure it’s somewhat intentional, but she just seems poorly cast. I keep secretly hoping she’s going to have to go “undercover” in a slinky dress at some point. Please don’t ruin my dream.

Resisting urge to check her IMdB page, which would list which 24 eps she will actually be in this season…

Agent Walker spoiler…

She’s listed for all 24, it seems

I know people love to talk about how there are always moles in 24, but really, it’s only about half the seasons.
Season 1: Nina and “The Mandible”
Season 2: None.
Season 3: None.
Season 4: Dina.
Season 5: There were _sort of_ moles, but it was just a big plot with the president himself. I don’t consider a whole “team” of traitors to be the same as a mole.
Season 6: See season 5, but not with the president, just a lot of other people.

Well, Season 2 had Gael as a fake mole and then Jack as a fake mole.

The rest just plain blur…

Season 3, you mean. Which I enjoyed more than anyone else, it seems. I’ll agree that season 1 or 2 is the best (I’ll admit I’ve never finished season 1…) but season 2 had the “Misadventures of Kim Bauer” that _seriously_ distracted from the main plot. Season 3 was more consistent, plus I liked the bad guy

I thought the mole in season 4 was Marianne. Wasn’t Dina the terrorist’s wife?
