Wow. Kim’s actually talking Jack into staying. Didn’t see that coming. I thought Jack was going to say, “I have to stay for a while” and she was going to be pissed. Kim’s grown up. Maybe she’s learned how to avoid cougar traps now, too. And Jack waltzes back in and starts giving orders. HAHAHA! The New CTU Overlord is gonna be pissed! ---

When she was applying for her position at the New CTU, I wonder if any of Chloe’s references happened to mention that “sometimes she violates orders and protocol to hack into her co-worker’s systems to help rogue agents”. Surely one of her former employers knew this by now. ---

WTF to the main evil guy/NYC cop-mole-impersonator changing his accent from regularJoecopbuddy to eeevil terrorist just as he got serious giving orders to his hostage in the last few minutes? I think it’s beyond amusing – I might catch this season. Neither episode felt like the dull, unironic soap opera of the past season (or two). Hitting their stride, maybe. ---

So, Agent Starbuck AKA “Dana Walsh” AKA “Jenny” doesn’t appear to be a mole _per se_, but she apparently DID manage to get hired at a Top Security intelligence/security agency with a totally fictional identity. Way to go, CTU Human Resources Department! It’s nice to know that, whatever, happens, there are some things that are constant and unchanging in this world. Makes me want to send in _my_ resume to CTU HR. I can’t imagine they wouldn’t hire me. On the other hand, the life expectancy of CTU agents not named “Jack Bauer” or “Chloe O’Brian” isn’t really stellar. ---

No, what happened is that she went to the Korean War and then was injured in an explosion. When she came to, she assumed the identity of another woman that was nearby at the time and died, abandoning her old life and later becoming an executive at Sterling-Cooper. ---
