First off, don’t forget the [Labor Day Marathon](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?s=&threadid=207708) of Season Two. Two and a half years is about how long it would take for someone to read and make sense of the summaries over at Television Without Pity. I bet they begged Fox for an early list of characters so they could start making up nicknames for them. ---
