OK, **This Is Spinal Tap** is #1, no question. Even if you disagree you’ll be shouted down by thousands. So what is #2? Would it be **The Rutles** (surely has the most cameo appearances by big stars)? **The Compleat Al**? You tell me. P.S. **A Spinal Tap Reunion** (1992) is available on DVD in the UK but not in the US? What’s up with that?!?!? ---

Another vote for _Best In Show_ (personally, I enjoyed that movie even more than Spinal Tap). And, I cannot wait to see _A Mighty Wind_–I’ll have to fit that in sometime this weekend. ---

Waiting for Guffman was hilarious. It’s the last time I heard my mom laugh. We watched it on Easter five years ago. The following Monday she was diagnosed with cancer and was gone within two months. It’s nice to remember her laughing. ---

“Guffman” and “Best in Show” are certianly classics. Though not quite up to their standards, “Drop Dead Gorgeous” did have some funny moments. But I can also recall some classic Monty Python “mocumentaries” that even pre-date “Real Life” - “Can you lend me a couple quid ? I can pay you back on Tuesday.” ---
