Are you saying you **didn’t** state the thread title as you did just to get people to read your ramblings? If not, then maybe you could, I dunno, discuss the issue stated by the title? I’m pretty sure I didn’t _accuse_ Leary of peeing in our pool from the great psychedelic beyond. You are adept enough with English to know the difference between an accusation and simile. Here, let me re-order the sentence so you can compare it to the examples in the Elements of Style: “Like an Icelandic speaking Timothy Leary with a propensity for trolling…” ---
