I always get 3 doors down confused with 3 days grace. I also get them confused with 7 mary 3. ---

I knew that there was a band by that name, but I always wondered where they got the name from. There was a head shop in the Pontiac MI area by that name and wondered if either there was a connection or a common origin. ---

It’s also possible that she heard it a few times back when it was a hit, and it just didn’t stick in her memory enough for her to remember it a quarter-century later. Regardless, RIP, Mr. Arnold. 47 is far too young. ---

Just based on this board alone, yeah. I usually get crickets whenever I mention two of the biggest 90s rock bands - Weezer and Green Day. I didn’t really like the direction rock music took in the early 2000s. But 3 Doors Down was among the more tolerable bands to hear on the radio in that era. And any way you slice it, 47 is too young to go.
