[IRS link](https://www.irs.gov/newsroom/special-300-tax-deduction-helps-most-people-give-to-charity-this-year-even-if-they-dont-itemize), since I tend not to believe stuff I see on Twitter. Bottom line: this is correct information, and you really can deduct up to $300 of any cash donation to charity in 2020 even if you use the standard deduction. Contribute!

Thanks for the info. It will help a bit since I sent half of the $1200 to the local food back in May. I’m thinking of sending more now.
