I had depression for I think it was about 3 months in the mid nineties. It was so incredibly bad that I have essentially moved it into the “Can’t think about it long enough to remember exactly what it was like” portion of my memory. I really don’t want to go to prison, but in this case, better the devil you don’t know. ---

I work in a maximum security prison without movies, bowling alleys, internet access, etc. And life there is a lot better than the actual life of a fair number of the inmates there. It would be interesting to have a similar poll but, rather than a country club style prison, it’s a dingier and more violent one.
