I’ve read it but I truly wasn’t paying that much attention to what I read. I was in the throes of writing papers on Shakespeare plays and didn’t give it my full attention. Yes, I agree with @carrps that it was really dry. Even for Michener (I mean, have you ever read the full first chapter of Hawaii? I can’t.).
