I’m not surprised this POS is already a headache for prison officials. I could easily see him filing nuisance complaints with the courts. Typical jailhouse lawyer behavior. I understand inmate’s civil rights have to be respected and treated carefully.
Are we to take that as your approval of the appalling state of inmate-on-inmate violence and intimidation common in US prisons?
Because it sure sounds like that’s what you’re saying.
AFAIK no one has touched Kohberger and he’s probably getting extra protection. He’s in a single cell. Probably being watched closely by the guards when he’s outside.
The prison staff know Kohberger is a lightening rod for the press. Nothing will happen to him.
The reports say he’s complaining about the noise and comments from prisoners. That’s to be expected.
The other prisoners are using the vent ducts to harass him verbally. Inmates can be so mean to serial killers.
He’s a human waste, but he’s not a serial murderer by the usual definition. A multiple murderer? Sure.
I suspect that if he’d never been connected to these 4, he’d already have bagged a couple other 20yo cute blondes on other occasions from other towns. At which point he would be a serial murderer.
I dunno. Seems like he planned out his killings as if he was someone who enjoyed the process.
Oh yeah. He was planning to have fun. And probably planning to make it a lifestyle, not just a one-off. At least assuming he did enjoy the actual doing this first time as much as he expected to.
My point is the definition of “serial killer” is multiple events on different dates to unrelated victims. His resumé does not meet that standard.
I think he would eventually have racked up serial killer status if the cops hadn’t caught him as early as they did.
As it actually played out, he’s serialis interruptus.
Or he’s just making efficient use of his time. Maybe he was on a tight schedule. I’d be checking his phone records against unsolved murders.
I agree. I hope the investigators did that. Given the publicity and FBI involvement it’s a pretty good bet they thought of that too.
I find it to be very big balls on his part that he requested a move from cellblock J to B because he thinks he’s being harassed. I think those 4 kids would’ve requested their lives. Fuck off.
I read that the guards most likely wouldn’t do anything because he was not in any physical danger & the other inmates were only talking shit to him thru the pipes. That being said, if they got to him that quickly in J-block, word will get around to B-Block, if he’s moved there. He’s not only fresh meat but high profile fresh meat, & that after some period of time he’d normally be moved out of solitary & into general population. He’s not going to do very well unless he learns to toughen his thin skin up.
He’s already plastering a bunch of target decals on himself.
One month into the rest of his prison life and he’s already whining. Good. Two and a half years in Latah County Jail probably seems like the good old days now.
That’s what happened to Jeffrey Dahmer…
But Jeffrey Dahmer could have had his cellblockmates over for dinner
My bet is that when he was meticulously planning the murders, he forgot about this part.
Yeah. Along with the part about “Don’t leave bloody personal property of yours at the scene of the crime.”
Some dudes just suck at crimin’ and timin’
He’s entered a world full of prisoners serving a life sentence. It’s a captive crowd with little to do and nothing to lose. They are not nice people and aren’t fond of those who murder the innocent.
It’s not lost on them that a vegetarian who murdered people is complaining about his dietary needs.
Those who murder the innocent are a sizeable fraction of the inmate population.
Not to hear them tell it, and not according to their own internal dialogues. They had it coming, or it was an accident, or I had a bad lawyer, or 10,000 other “reasons” why they didn’t murder an innocent person.
