Dear lord. I started reading that thinking, “hmm, I didn’t remember **Tripler** ’s side on this issue”. Then, “hmmm…oookay” “Wait. He doesn’t actually think…?” “Oh god. He does.” “It’s gotta be a joke. A somewhat obtuse one. Gotta be.” “Holy shit, it’s not.” “Shoot me now. And at least now I know who’s got a gun to do it with.” 🙂 ---

You can say that again. The whooshing sound was even faintly perceptible here in Finland. It must have been like a herd of elephants flying majestetically through air on miniature airplanes. ---

me?, pro gun?, absolutely, i choose to take care of my life, family and property rather than depending on the phone (you put that down or i’m gonna DIAL!), as i have stated in prior posts this is a big change for me, i grew up a pacifist, peacenik, touchy-feely kind of guy, then i had my life threatened the first time and things changed very quickly. by the way, i carry a beretta 96 brigadier .40 with night sights and a trigger job. unclviny ---

Oh, **Tripler** , I kept saying, “No, but” and waving my hand to catch your attention when I read your post. What a wonderful rant against something that you completely agree with. I think you win the Whoosh Award this week. The commentary on the OP was a nice sarcastic dig at gun control advocates. But beautiful rant. ---

tripler, no problems here, i was “testing the waters” here at the sdmb (nice place by the way), as you can see (from my second post) i got this from one of my gun owners forums. i was surprised at the support i got from the folks here (even the ones with opposing viewpoints). and what does WHOOOSH mean, i can guess, but a real explanation would be nice. i sure hope i didn’t piss anyone off (too bad) unclviny ---

Really? I’ve never seen any anti-gun glurge. And I’ve certainly never seen anyone trolling the Pit with anti-gun glurge. Of course, it would be just as stupid if somebody dropped by with something like that. Sheesh, we’re supposed to be fighting ignorance around here, not coddling spam. ---

I agree, **minty**. Whether it’s anti-gun or pro-gun, or whatever…it’s stupid and oversimplifies everything. By the time I got to #8 I could barely read without vomitting up cloyingly sugary glurge. (Hehe…:)) ---
