Escaped non-human primates are bad news. In 1987 a macaque monkey escaped from the Pittsburgh Zoo. It was sighted frequently, but evaded capture for 6 months! But the monkeys were only trying to warn us of the unintended consequences of the mind melding experiment horrors taking place inside the secret lab. I really like Brian Dennehy for the lead monkey catcher role and who is later revealed to have been reprogrammed by the super intelligent monkeys to help them all along. It ends with them all sanding boats on the beach. ---
