It seems like a lot of people have a hard time taking the potential for women to be child predators seriously. I must admit that when I first overheard bits and pieces of a report about this on the local news, my initial assumption was that the teacher was a man, because I’m so used to hearing about male pedophiles. Creepy and sad situation regardless of the genders involved. ☹ ---

It’s been a while since I was a pubescent boy, so I may be wrong, but I don’t think anyone younger than 20 (and probably older than that) is going to want to get it on with a woman who’s half a century old. ---

I’m 49 (for a few more days) and I can’t imagine looking at middle school boys with lust. \* ick ick ick ick ick\* I admit, I like younger men - my husband is 3 whole years younger :eek: - but even if I was free to date, I’d be very reluctant to consider someone under 35 at the outside! I think it stems from the notion that young boys aren’t “victims” in relationships with older women, because well…lets face it, they’re horny dogs. And his role would would be an active one in a sexual relationship, as opposed to passive “receiver” in the case of young girls and older men, or young boys and older men.
