The likes of which we haven’t seen since Bryan. ---

Generic Candidate _always_ does well in polls, no matter the party or opponent. Every member of Party X, when they hear of Generic X, thinks of someone whose views align perfectly with their own. No actual candidate with actual views and foibles can ever match that.
