Past or present, who are the most recognizable Doper screen names that have been on the board? Not the most likeable just the most recognizable.
In other words if you had to name 5 Dopers which 5 would come to your mind the fastest?
I have my list but I want to wait to see which Dopers you pick.
_…and no I’m not looking to be on anybody’s list, so just be honest._

Hmm. I can look at things two ways… I can look at it from a political viewpoint, in which case I’m more likely to remember names of people I’ve butted heads with before (Stoid, Diogenes, Elucidator, Reeder)…
Or I can look at things from a… I dunno, I guess I’d give it the catch-all term “social” viewpoint. I definitely remember Wally, Scylla, Aesiron ('cuz he’s a Trekkie… and I’m not :D), Lobsang, and Manhattan. But I’m terribly with names… 90% of the time I don’t even look at the name of the poster that I’m reading.

Ditto. I’d say it’s just been in the past year that I could name 10 dopers off the top of my head. And in fact, I just saw a doper tonight with 10,000+ posts that I’d never seen before.

Not long ago, I was riding the crest of a beautifull Amp/Espresso crazed wave that I subjected myself to so I had the energy to write an essay. That wave is crashing now, and that I can remember the names of these four members in such a state speaks volumes 🆒 .
