That’s a lot of folks.I was just wondering over that number. _I_ am one of 6 billion. Not real unique, although saying “I’m one in 6 billion” has a certain allure. Consider tonight. I met a nice woman. We had fun together. I also have a very good friend who is someone I have sex with when it’s right for both of us. I have a friend who I thought I could love months ago, but it didn’t work out. I have an ex-wife. I have a friend I’d happily die for. I have people I’ve met thru the internet that I can talk to anything about. I have a friend who is a lesbian, and we get together and bitch about girls. I have a friend who wants me to come over and fuck her while her husband watches, to fulfill a fantasy. I have an ex-friend who would be glad to shower me with acid. I have 2 cats who depend on me for their living, and 2 dogs who adore me. I have a lot of stuff, and usualy it’s interacting with other folks. It’s all so interconnected. Everyone who reads this thread has the same thing I do, although the specifics may change. Everyone who dosen’t read this has the same. What a mysterious world when we can be SO similar, and yet often feel so all alone. How strange that we can find one who means more than all the rest. How wonderful, and at the same time scary, it is to be human! No point, just an observation I had to get off my chest. ---

The real question, of course, is whether the earth’s axis (or orbit?) would shift if all six billion climbed up on chairs and simultaneously jumped off. I know Cecil has addressed a similar question, but he was using smaller numbers. It may be time for a reassessment. ---

It’s my opinion that 6 billion is too many. We need to thin the herd. At least 2.5 billion of you have to go. I get to stay because I’m calling dibs right now. For the unlucky 2.5 billion? We’ll start alphabetically by country and wipe out 41% of their population. We’ll be down to 3.5 billion in now time. A little genocide, that’s all the world needs. In this country, I say we start with Bill Gates and move on to the politicians from there. ---
