All I can say is…Thank the Weather Gods for Colorado Springs! I just got back to the Springs yesterday after spending a week in the Northwest for Christmas with the paters. Rainy, grey, rainy windy, rainy, 40 degrees and rainy. Plus it rained. I rolled into town, it was 60 degrees, the sun was shining, absolutley beautiful. I even got out my scooter and rode around downtown for a few hours. Deeelightful! ---

60 degrees?? BRRRRRR!!! Of course, it’s been hovering around the 55-65 range here in so-called Sunny So-Cal since December 1st. Gotta wear a sweater AND a jacket when I venture outside… ---

Just wanted to jump back in here and point out that it is STILL 50 FUCKING DEGREES AT 10pm AT THE END OF JANUARY!! Its been 60 degrees or more during the day for the mast month or so. I hate this fucking state. ---

I love this state! We played golf yesterday. I do miss snow right now…but just wait until March. That’s when the real snow happens. I’ve lived here my whole life and have determined that the seasons are shifting. When I was a kid, summer was May, June and July. Fall was Aug, Sept and Oct, winter was Nov, Dec, Jan and spring was Feb, Mar, April. Now it has slowly shifted so that Jan, Feb, Mar are winter, Apr, May, June are spring, Jul, Aug, Sep are summer and Oct, Nov, Dec are fall, at least weather-wise. ---

I’d just like to comment that any of you who’re wondering where winter went this year are free to trade homes with me for the duration of the winter, I assure you. (You could also kiss my ass, but you run the risk of having your lips fucking _freeze_ to it!). Come revel in the goat-choking tundra that Long Island has become while I hang out in a t-shirt wherever the hell it is that _you_ live, you lucky soandso. Yeah, I love winter. 😃 ---

Yeah, WTF happened to winter! Right here, in Far North Buffalo, we’re experiencing an unprecedented heat wave. It was 25 degrees Fahrenheit out today! Geez, what happened to that -10 we had last week? I hear tomorrow it might get to 29–this isn’t winter, dammit!
