How exactly did you notice a thread whose most recent post was almost a full year ago? Also, my first thought is that it somehow has a good combination of keywords that spambots find or make it show up frequently in Google searches and when it does someone visits the thread and voila, extra view. ---

I sorted IMHO by views, looking for interesting threads. There were others with few replies and an absurd number of views. ---

This makes me want to start a thread just full of keywords and phrases to see how high we can get the post count from people stumbling upon it during Google searches. Popular medical terms and conditions would be a good place to start, right after mentioning boobs and women’s underwear. ---

I think that in general it means the thread title was a whole lot more interesting than the content.
