# 60 second Post Limit

I just got an error message saying that we are limited to making one post every 60 seconds. Is this new, or do I just not normally post that quickly? Just curious. I normally don’t mind waiting, but sometimes my brilliant wit just needs to be let out for all the world to marvel at.

It’s not new. You were just speedier than usual this time, QuickDraw. Helpful hint: tonight’s probably not a good night to try to get lucky. 🙂

Hey, if I only had to wait 60 seconds each time to get lucky again…ooh, ouch, never mind.

The limit is actually 30 seconds, despite the wording.

I have a seconds counter in my system tray ( free tool tclockx from [http://users.iafrica.com/d/da/dalen/](http://users.iafrica.com/d/da/dalen/) )

Yeah, it’s called flood control. Prevents some double posting. Usually, if I get it, I hit submit by accident (I always go back before waiting for it to take me back).

I don’t mind it at all.

Kept me from double posting a couple of times (I get kinda mouse crazy sometimes).
