As it turns out 666 is actually the number of Ceramics & allied technology.

Funny, here I thought 495 was Altaic, Uralic, Hyperborean, Dravidian. 49_6_ is Languages of East & Southeast Asia.

On a related note, I went to Duke from 1984 to 1988, and all freshman took Chem 11 from a Dr. Bonk. (Yes, his real name. The course was also called Bonkistry and Bonk 11.) Dr. Bonk wrote his own textbooks and lab books, and on the cover was a series of three pressure gauges, one in hundreds, one in tenths, and on in single digits. The pressure indicated was, yup, you guessed it, 666 psi. Which explains my C-.

The one you really have to watch out for it 443,556 – that’s 666 **squared**!
Also be careful of 665, he’s a lot like the beast, but nor “quite” as bad. 😃
