Occasioned by looking down at the bottom of the screen and realizing that the number of pages of threads in Cafe Society had reached that classic watermark, the diabolical trinity, six hundred sixty six. The intention is to recognize the event with a “playlist” even Old Scratch might take an interest in. Any works from any art form are welcome; I’m simply sticking to music since it’s what I know best. My submissions: Mike Oldfield’s _Tubular Bells_ (natch) in its entirety, so as to get the full range of _eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee_vil! John Cafferty and the Beaver Brown Band “On The Dark Side” Van Halen “Runnin’ With The Devil” The Charlie Daniels Band “The Devil Went Down To Georgia” Robert Johnson “Preaching Blues (Up Jumped The Devil)” The devil is in the details, like the man said. Have at! ---

> [@labtrash](#): > > Can we throw in the entire 'Bat out of Hell" Meatloaf album? Or just the track? > > Same question for the “Bat out of Hell II: Back Into Hell” album, for the “Back into Hell” track? I expect that if I were to land in the netherworld, Meat Loaf will be playing _a lot_ on Hell’s Muzak…so, yeah, sure, go for the whole albums. 🙂 Well, except maybe “Two Out Of Three Ain’t Bad.” I kinda liked that one. Oh, and speaking of Muzak, who better than **The Devil’s** own **Grandmother** would know that he likes elevator music? If that’s true, I nominate that version of “The Girl From Ipanema” from the elevator in both _The Blues Brothers_ and _Mallrats_. ---

Someone in **Shirley Ujest** ’s thread [What is your favorite Christmas CD?](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?t=289043) ( **mouthbreather** in post #40, to be specific) suggested the song “Xmas With The Devil” by Spinal Tap, and it’s too good not to include here as well.
