For my birthday, Mrs. Chuck gave me **The Complete Cartoons of the New Yorker**. The cartoons are on CD ROM, of course. Searchable. Just type in “Death Ray” and get the Charles Addams classic. There’s also a hard copy book with all the classics. I’m delighted and amazed. ---

My parents gave it to me for Christmas. I’ve looked through the book but I haven’t yet tried the CDs in my Mac because I don’t think I could stand the heartbreak if I can’t access them. ---

The Death Ray is nothing compared to the Jealousy Rays I am shooting in your direction. Go look up the one by Thurber with the guy out having a ball on the dance floor while two ladies watch and gossip. One lady says to the other, “That’s So-and-So’s husband. He’s terribly unhappy.” Jealous, jealous, jealous. ---
