And just for fun, here’s a breakdown of the number of times each team was picked to make it to the SB, and how many times they were predicted to win: Giants - 14 appearances, 5 wins Panthers - 14 appearances, 4 wins Colts - 13 appearances, 8 wins Titans - 12 appearances, 8 wins Steelers - 9 appearances, 4 wins Eagles - 6 appearances, 5 wins Ravens - 4 appearances, 3 wins Chargers - 3 appearances, 2 wins Vikings - 3 appearances, 0 wins Cardinals - 2 appearances, 2 wins Falcons - 2 appearances, 0 wins Dolphins - 1 appearance, 0 wins Redskins - 1 appearance, 1 win Interesting – all 12 playoff teams (plus one) were picked to make it. Also, the three teams that no one picked to win the SB were all eliminated in the 1st round. Of course, the Colts’ early departure was the biggest knockout for the week. ---

Even the long pass by their QB which set up their go-ahead field goal was aided by the double coverage breaking apart… because both the defensive players stumbled! I’m not saying they’re a bad team, mind you. But during this game the Titan stumbled when they could have run through them. And during the previous game the Dolphins folded about half-game through. ---

The defense never really stopped the Titans, whose turnovers in the red zone prevented them from scoring at all. I was shocked by the Cards too. ---

As I read it, there are only three people left with both teams intact. One picked the Cardinals to win it all and two picked the Iggles. It seems to me that more likely than not, no one will win this year’s contest. ---
