Lust gets my vote…and I’m sure it’s on the way to being the hands down favorite. Lust shouldn’t even be a deadly sin. I mean–how unfair to even associate it with Greed and Wrath. Deadly Sins: Greed, Wrath Rotten Sins: Envy, Pride Goofy Sins: Gluttony, Sloth Pardonable Everybody’s-Doing-It Sin: Lust What kind of “Seven Deadly Sins” pick on Lust, but leave out Hate, Rudeness, Insincerity, Shallowness, Pigheadedness, Prejudice, and Cloying Sentimentality–just to name a few? The wrong kind. ---

Before we had kids I’d put Lust at the top of the list, with all the others a distant second. But now, I gotta go for Sloth. Cuz most nights the idea of sleep wins out over just about anything else. ---

Something dun got messed up! My point was that TM’s line ‘…I want to be lazy and have many orgasms’ was so funny - yet true. I don’t just want this for a sig, I want it as a tshirt! For me, I would have to second TM’s mixture and add a bit of gluttony. _BAM!_ Just to kick it up a notch! ~t ---

As much as I want it to be Lust, Pride actually wins out (narrowly). 1. Pride - I’m an attractive, talented, intelligent and articulate human male - how can I not be infused with hubris? 2. Lust - As a result of my pride, I have a great deal of passion, which I don’t want to contain within myself and deliriously enjoy sharing with women who like good-naturedly arrogant men 3. Wrath - With pride comes temper. Goes back to the passion thing. 4. Avarice - I want (and feel I deserve) all I can gather unto myself. 5. Gluttony - Because I am so proud, I don’t let this one get too out of control, but I very much enjoy the best of things and refuse to indulge in asceticism 6. Envy - Who have I to be envious of? 7. Sloth - At least to my own disposition, being proud and lazy are two mutually exclusive sins. Pride takes too much energy to maintain. ---

Jesus H. Christ. The only one I can even be accused of is Wrath. I have an amazing temper, but it does help me to be a major ass-kicker who can get it done. The first time anyone sees me lose my temper, their mouth just drops. A lot of people are very scared of setting me off. No way I could be acused of any of the rest. I guess I lead a very boring life. ---
