The Committee was apparently unmoved by Jordan’s impassioned references to Obama misdeeds last night and subpoenaed his Jan. 6 phone records. Along with a handful of others, including Empty Greene and Matt Gaetz. ---

But many people text, especially people in a crowded chamber where people are attempting a coup and don’t want to be overheard. Phone company keeps records of text. I doubt that that congress critters were any smarter than the mob, probably took videos of themselves talking about overthrowing the libs today . . . for historical purposes in order to prove their treasonous leadership. ---

I believe all that the records will show is that this here phone called that there phone from this here location at this here time for this here duration. The texts that were read by the committee were provided as messages by Meadows. ---

With good cause, Congress can subpoena those records directly from the phone and other media companies. They have good cause. They are tasked with investigating these things. What they may not have access to are all the text messages from [Signal](https://signal.org/en/). But the Committee has interviewed around 300 witnesses, and I understand quite a number of them are cooperating with the Committee’s subpoenas. Maybe Signal, too. Think about how the Committee knew that Meadows had failed to turn over large numbers of text messages and emails from his private gmail account. They know because they likely already have a lot of this stuff. They just want to see how often Meadows will lie to them and rack up the lying-to-Congress charges. This is how normal investigations work. Start with the little guys and work your way up. You can’t go after Mark Meadows until you have the foundational evidence. The FBI has rolled up over 700 participants in the insurrection and still counting. A lot of them are cooperating. So are quite a lot of members of Congress. They will have turned over their text messages and emails. ---
