That is real and it shows what the Republican Party has become. This is the kind of stuff they’re going to be required to sign onto if they want to run for public office with an R after their names. Otherwise they don’t get the fundraising and logistical platforms. Keep in mind those platforms have probably been used in furtherance of a scheme to overthrow the government and may become a law enforcement target. This is what happens to weak-willed people of low moral character. This _ **is** _ the Republican Party of 2021, like it or not. ---

I think the real cause of the shift, if it’s really happening, is that more facts are coming to light. More video is coming out. More charges are being filed. And there fortunately seems to be growing awareness that what happened at the Capitol is part of an extremist movement that is really dangerous. ---

I did not vote for Bush in 2004, either. However, I grew up thinking the Republican party was a reasonable party. I disagree with them now, but feel like it was somewhat respectable to support them back then. Now? Goodbye. Never again. Dissolve it. It’s done. Voted Clinton in 2016 and obviously Biden this time. Will vote Harris or Biden in 2024, assuming one of them is the candidate. ---
