They have been voluntarily [brainwashed](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brainwashing), in the literal sense, and it will take some serious counseling to bring them even halfway back to reality where they could function like an adult. All of the creatures who have been convicted of J6 offenses so far need this, and one would hope that is part of their rehabilitation. ---

Yeah, watching nothing but Fox news and listening to Conservative talk radio has brainwashed at least three previously liberal friends into hardcore MAGAs. And I say “previous” also in the sense they are no longer friends. All of them were into guns, and gave into the "Obama is gonna take your guns’ lies. It only took a few years to convert them, and all of them were quite intelligent … to start. Strangely, one of them only was into _Cowboy Action Shooting_ guns, likely the last sort of guns anyone wants to ban. ---

[A Proud Boy who vanished just before his sentencing has been nabbed by the Feds.](https://abcnews.go.com/US/fbi-arrests-proud-boys-member-disappeared-days-sentencing/story?id=103586376) Christopher Worrell tear-gassed Capitol police officers on Jan 6th, and prosecutors wanted 14 years for him before he disappeared. I’m guessing that number will increase now. ---
