Sidestepping the shadenfreude (which is a different thread) it does speak that the J6 crowd is similar to the a lot of the profiles we’ve had of Qanon / SovCit / general CT followers. Many of them have numerous problems, often financial, and Trump and his stupid CT on the Stolen Election gave them something bigger than themselves to be a part of. !@#$%^&\*() cult leader, one sadly loved by a multiple propaganda mills (who run their own grifts) and advertise on the false outrage. A family member does process serving as a side gig and could have easily picked that job (the jobs are picked via an app just like Uber or Lyft or DoorDash drivers use where you only see the very basics about the gig), but my relative doesn’t pack a gun like these fellows fortuitously did. ---
