Yes, it’s not strictly political, but it’s relevant. And I’m amazed it hasn’t spawned a bunch of news stories, lawsuits, and general hubbub. Both Roger Stone and Steve Bannon had their sentences commuted then pardoned on separate occasions, but it was for the same convictions in each case and I don’t think that counts. I don’t think anyone has had separate crimes pardoned on separate occasions as far as I can tell, but I also don’t think there’s any rule preventing it.
