She’s just being smart. With her real estate business now up in flames, her future earning potential lies in being a MAGA martyr. The more she can stoke the storyline of her being a victim of vicious liberal trolls for defending her President, the more she can grow her social media presence and generate those sweet, sweet clicks. ---

I don’t think “MAGA martyr” is really a job description – at least, not a description of a particularly lucrative job. Anyway, one might note that among the many other things that this woman did, she had herself photographed standing in front of a broken window at the Capitol, with the caption “if the media doesn’t stop lying about us, we’re coming after their studios next”. It’s amazing how suddenly she’s been transformed from a violent revolutionary to just a contrite “normal person” who’s being victimized. It has to be one of the most remarkable examples of overnight rehabilitation I’ve ever seen! ---

Back in the 1960s I don’t recall members of any radical groups like the Black Panthers, SDS, the Yippies, or Weather Underground suddenly trying to portray themselves as just “normal people” after being arrested. Whatever you want to say about them, they were proud revolutionaries who didn’t seek to disavow their beliefs or actions. These people are just pathetic. ---
